The Remento Story Ornament is a 2.87” ceramic ornament designed to preserve a special memory in a beautiful, lasting keepsake.

With your favorite photo on the front and your story just a scan away on the back, the Remento Story Ornament is a simple way to keep a meaningful memory close for years to come.

Each Ornament Project includes one photo, one shared prompt, and a collection of stories from everyone you invite to participate. Your project is available for one year and does not require a subscription.

At this time, Remento does not ship Ornaments internationally directly. If you’re ordering from outside the U.S., you’ll need to provide a U.S. shipping address for your Ornament order.

Start by uploading the photo you’d like to feature on your ornament. You can preview the front and back of the ornament, replace your photo, and crop it as needed.

The back of the ornament includes a QR code that connects to your Ornament Project, along with instructions and Remento branding.

Review your ornament, enter your shipping information, choose your quantity, and complete your purchase.

You can also sign in to an existing Remento account during checkout.

After placing your order, you’ll be invited to record your first story right away. Everyone who contributes to the project answers the same prompt: “Describe what this moment means to you.”

Your photo will appear alongside the prompt to help inspire your story.

You’ll need to create a Remento account or sign in before submitting your recording.

Share your Ornament Project using the 🔗Invite Someone to Record button. You don’t need to enter email addresses or add people as traditional collaborators.

Alternatively, anyone who would like to contribute a story can simply scan the QR code on the ornament.

The QR code on the back of your ornament takes you directly to the project’s Stories page.

Anyone who scans it can view the stories in the project. If they want to contribute a story, they’ll be asked to create a Remento account or sign in.

If someone scans the ornament before any stories have been added, they’ll see the ornament photo and an invitation to record a story. They can also share the project with someone else.

Once your story has been submitted, you’ll be able to view it with the other stories in the project.

You can select View all stories to return to the Stories page or share the project with others.

And then once you receive the Ornament, you'll be able to access all the stories recorded on that ornament by scanning the QR code on the back of the ornament.

When can I record?

You can start recording as soon as you purchase your ornament. No need to wait for it to arrive. Or you can record your story by scanning the QR code on the back of the ornament, once it arrives.

How do I invite others to record?

Tap "Invite someone to record" to get a shareable link. Anyone you send it to can open it on any device - no app needed - and add their own memory to the same ornament.

Can I change my recording?

Yes, anytime. Just re-open your recording link by scanning the ornament or directly from your project, and record again. You can delete the previous recording if you'd like to discard it.

Do I need an existing Remento account?

No. You can create a Remento account when you purchase your ornament or when you record your first story.

Do I need a subscription?

No. An Ornament Project is available for one year from the day of purchase and does not require a subscription.

What happens after the one year?

Your Ornament Project is available for one year from the day of purchase. After the one year, you will still be able to access all stories recorded on your ornament, but you will no longer be able to record new ones.

Can I add more prompts?

No. Each Ornament Project uses one shared prompt: “Describe what this moment means to you.”

Can multiple people contribute stories?

Yes! Share your project link with family and friends so they can each record their own story about the photo.

Can contributors see other people’s stories?

Yes. Anyone with access to the project can view the stories that have been shared.

Can contributors edit someone else’s story?

No. Contributors can edit or delete only their own stories. The purchaser can manage all stories in the project.

Can I view the stories without signing in?

Yes. You can browse the project’s stories without signing in. You’ll need a Remento account when you want to record or manage a story.

Can contributors re-record a story after creating an Ornament?

Yes, a contributor can record a new story as many times they like. They'll just need to delete the previous recording they did, if they'd like to discard it.

Can I change the photo on my ornament?

No. Once ordered, the photo on the ornament cannot be changed.

Is there a limit on the number of recordings on an ornament?

No. There's no limit on recordings on an ornament. You can record as many recordings you like within the one year of your ornament project.

Can I create a hard cover book from my ornament?

No. You cannot create a hard cover book from the stories on your ornament project.
