Welcome to Remento! Your Baby Book is designed to help you capture your baby's firsts, milestones, photos, and the little moments you'll want to remember in a keepsake that lasts.

After you purchase or redeem your Baby Book, we'll guide you through a few simple onboarding steps to personalize your experience.

When you first enter your Baby Book, we'll introduce you to the experience and help you get started.

From there, you'll answer a few questions so we can personalize your Baby Book.

We'll ask whether you're:

Choose the option that best describes where you are in your journey.

If You're Expecting

You'll be asked for information such as your due date so we can personalize your Baby Book around your baby's expected arrival. You also have the option to enter your baby's name and gender if you'd like.

If Your Baby Has Arrived

You'll provide your baby's information, including their birth date, so your Baby Book can be organized around their stage of life. You'll also be able to enter your baby's name, nickname and gender.

Next, you'll provide a few details about your baby, such as:

These details help personalize your Baby Book and the memories you'll capture.

You can add a co-parent to your Baby Book so you can build your baby's book together.

Your co-parent will have full access to the project and will receive onboarding emails to help them get started.

You can add the names of important people in your baby's life, such as:

Providing these names helps Remento recognize names and relationships more accurately when creating your story transcripts.

Choose how often you'd like Remento to remind you to record a story:

Choose the option that works best for your family. You can use reminders as a gentle nudge to help you keep capturing stories as your baby grows.

In case you choose to receive reminders, you'll be able to pick the start date as well as the time of day for your reminders. Each reminder email will have 4 suggested Firsts personalized to the stage your baby is in, to help you easily pick one and start recording a story.

You can choose the transcription mode you’d like to use for your stories. The option you select will become the default for your future stories.

You can choose whether you'd like QR codes included in your printed Baby Book.

QR codes can connect the memories in your printed book to your voice or video recordings, allowing you and your family to experience the stories behind the memories.

QR codes are optional, so you can choose the experience that's right for your family.

Once you've completed onboarding, you'll arrive at your Baby Book and can start capturing your baby's Firsts.

Browse the available Firsts, choose one you'd like to capture, and record your story whenever you're ready.

All of the preferences entered from onboarding can be edited from within Project Settings. In case you skipped something, you can add from Project Settings as well.

What are “Firsts”?

Firsts are the special milestones and memorable moments in your baby’s life that you may want to capture and remember. These can include moments such as a first smile, first steps, first words, first food, or other meaningful milestones.

When does my subscription start?

Your subscription begins when you record your first story. If you haven't recorded a story within six months of your purchase, your subscription will automatically start after six months.

Can I change my onboarding choices later?

All settings and preferences can be adjusted after onboarding from Project settings. If you're unsure about a particular setting or need help changing something, contact Remento Support and we'll be happy to help.

Can I record something that isn't one of the suggested Firsts?

Yes. You can use Record a story to capture a memory whenever you have something you'd like to remember.
