▶️ Adding photos

Watch our instructional video about how to add photos to your Remento book.

Updated this week

Discover how easy it is to enhance your family's storytelling journey by adding photos to Remento. Whether you're recording your own stories or helping a loved one preserve theirs, photos can spark rich memories and add visual depth to your hardcover book.

You can use photos in two ways: as storytelling prompts or as illustrations for stories you've already recorded. To use a photo as a prompt, simply upload it and we'll ask your storyteller to share the memories behind that image. Or, after recording any story, add relevant photos that bring those memories to life. Import photos directly from your device, or connect your Facebook, Instagram, or Google account for seamless access to your digital albums.

All photos appear in vivid color in your finished book, thoughtfully placed alongside their related stories. For the best quality, we recommend using high-resolution images.

Consider photos that spark rich memories: your parents' wedding day, childhood homes, family gatherings, holiday celebrations, or vintage snapshots of your hometown. Old report cards, handwritten recipes, family heirlooms, or photos of beloved pets can unlock forgotten stories. Even simple images - like a grandmother's kitchen table or father's workbench - often inspire the most meaningful reflections about daily life and family traditions.
