How to Create an Ornament
You can create an ornament directly from any story in your Remento project.
Open the story you’d like to turn into an ornament.
Select Create Keepsake.
Choose the photo you’d like to feature.
Review and customize your ornament.
Complete your purchase.
Choosing a Photo
Your story needs at least one photo to create an ornament.
One photo: Your photo will be selected automatically.
Multiple photos: Your primary photo will be selected by default, but you can choose another photo during setup.
No photos: Select Add photo when prompted to upload one.
💡 Note: If your selected photo is too low-resolution for printing, you’ll be notified during setup and can choose another photo if available.
What Happens When the QR Code Is Scanned?
When someone scans the QR code on the back of the Remento Story Ornament, they’ll be redirected directly to the specific Remento story included with that Ornament.
From the story page, they can view or listen to the story associated with the Ornament. The QR code is unique to that story, so scanning it will always take them to the story that was selected when the Ornament was created.
Other actions, such as editing or managing the story, require login or appropriate access to the Remento project.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will my ornament arrive?
Each ornament is made to order with your photo. Please allow 6-9 business days for your ornament to be made and delivered. Alaska, Hawaii, and offshore destinations may receive slower shipping. We currently ship within the United States only. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.
Does Remento ship Story Ornaments internationally?
Not at this time. Remento does not currently ship Story Ornaments internationally directly. If you’re ordering from outside the U.S., you’ll need to provide a U.S. shipping address for your Ornament order.
Can I create an Ornament from any Remento story?
Yes. You can create an Ornament directly from any story in your Remento project by selecting Create Keepsake.
What if my photo is too low-resolution?
You’ll be notified during setup if your selected photo is too low-resolution for printing. You can choose another photo if one is available.
What does the QR code link to?
The QR code links to the story’s anonymous story page, where anyone can view or listen to the story.
Does someone need a Remento account to scan the QR code?
No. The QR code opens the story’s anonymous story page, allowing anyone to view or listen to the story.
Can I change the photo on my ornament?
No. Once ordered, the photo on the ornament cannot be changed.
Can I add a recording to the ornament?
No. You can only turn your existing story into an ornament as an existing Remento user, but you cannot add new stories to it. You will need to purchase a new ornament project and upload a photo to it to be able to add stories to it. Can I invite others to add stories to this ornament?
No. You cannot invite anyone else to add recordings to this ornament created from a story. You can invite others to add their stories on a new ornament project. For more information about the new ornament project, see our Help Center article: 🔗Remento Ornament: New Project.
Can I change the story associated with my Ornament?
No, once a story has been turned into an Ornament, you cannot change the story linked to it. But you can add to the recording. Please do not delete or re-record the original story. Deleting it will cause an error when accessing the story, and any new recording you create will not be linked to your Ornament.
