How to download and protect your family memories

You own your family's stories forever. Download your recordings to ensure your precious memories are always accessible.

Updated this week

One of the most common questions we receive is how recordings are preserved long-term. Your memories are always yours, and Remento allows you to download everything you’ve created at any time. This ensures you’ll always have secure access to your content on your own device, independent of the platform.

Download your recordings

You can download each recording by following the instructions below.

  1. Sign in to Remento

  2. Navigate to Stories in your account dashboard

  3. Select the story, the tap View all

  4. Tap More options on any recording you wish to download

  5. Choose "Download recording" from the menu

  6. The recording will be saved to your device.

From there, you can move that recording file into your personal storage. Keep in mind that if you decide to deactivate your Remento account, access to your saved recordings will be lost. To retain a copy of your recordings, it is essential to download them before proceeding with account deactivation or requesting a refund.

Remento's Commitment During Policy Changes

Remento is dedicated to keeping you informed about significant changes to its services, policies, or operations. In such events, users will be notified in advance and provided with an opportunity to download and preserve all their recordings for continued access.
