What types of prompts can I add?

The prompts your storyteller receives are the key to great stories and the foundation for an amazing book. That’s why we’ve made it easy to select prompts designed to inspire unforgettable reflections.

With Remento, you can choose to:

  • Upload photos: Use a photo to inspire reflections about a moment and its meaning. Photos from childhood, pictures of a major family milestone, or snapshots of family heirlooms are each bound to delight your storyteller when they sit down to record.

  • Select questions from our bank: We’ve worked with memory scientists and professional storytellers to create questions designed to inspire the recollection of great stories. Customize these questions to make each one feel personal to your storyteller.

  • Write a question of your own: Craft your own question about specific moments from their life and the people you know who shaped it.
