Everything you need to know to keep your Remento account active and more information about your renewal options.

Pricing for renewal

Your Remento subscription renews automatically for $99, which includes another year of telling stories.

Remento also offers a monthly renewal plan for $12 a month.

How to renew

You do not need to do anything to renew Remento. Your original payment method will be charged one year after the date of your gift delivery. If you did not purchase Remento as a gift, it will renew one year after your purchase date.

If you would like to change your renewal to a monthly plan, you need to access the Manage Subscription section, which is located under My Account. From there you can select the Monthly plan. See our full instructions here.

Finding your renewal date

If you purchased Remento, you can see your renewal date in the My account section.

If you did not purchase Remento, you can see the renewal date in Project settings.

Discounts on renewal

We sometimes run promotions on your renewal. Please check your email to see if you are eligible for a promotion.

We also offer a free renewal if you share your experience with Remento on social media: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Threads, or LinkedIn. Please email our team at Support@remento.co with a screenshot and a link to your shared review to be eligible.

How to cancel renewal

You can cancel your auto-renewal at any time.

  1. Go to My Account

  2. Select Manage Subscription

  3. Select Cancel auto-renewal and follow the steps.

How to update or change your payment method

If you would like to change the payment method before your renewal charge, you can do that.

  1. Go to My Account

  2. Select Manage Subscription

  3. Select Update billing and follow the steps.

How to change the billing owner

We do not currently offer a way to change the person being billed for renewal. If you would like to update, you have two options:

  1. Speak to the original purchaser and share your preferred payment method with them. They can update the payment method anytime using the instructions above.

  2. Contact Remento's support team at support@remento.co. We will help you find a solution.

Changed your mind? Your family's book is never truly closed:

  • You can resubscribe at any time

  • Reactivation restores full access to all features

  • Your new subscription starts on the day you renew

  • All your content will be right where you left it

To reactivate:

  1. Go to My Account

  2. Select Manage Subscription

  3. Select Resume Subscription and follow the steps.

FAQs

If I cancel my subscription, when do I lose access to features?

You retain full access to all features until your paid subscription period ends, even if you cancel before that date.

Will the QR codes in my book work if I cancel my Remento subscription?

Yes, you can still access your original recordings by scanning the QR codes in your printed Remento book.

Can I still order more books and send copies to family and friends?

Yes, you can order copies of your book anytime.

Can I resubscribe after canceling?

Yes, you can resubscribe anytime to regain full access to all features. Your new subscription will start on the day of your renewal.

Can a subscription be paused?

No, we don’t offer a specific pause functionality.

Will I lose my stories if I don't renew?

No, all your existing stories and projects remain safely stored and viewable.
