Who can add prompts?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

All people invited to a Remento project can add, edit, and remove prompts, including hosts, storytellers, and invited collaborators. Remento provides several features to facilitate storytelling, including prompts, collaboration tools, and distinct account roles:

Inviting and Collaborating on Prompts

Collaborators, such as family members or friends, can be invited to participate in storytelling projects within Remento. Once invited, collaborators can:

  • Log into their own Remento accounts to view recorded stories.

  • Add custom prompts that storytellers can engage with.

  • Assist in editing written versions of stories if needed. Collaborators may also receive notifications (based on their settings) for actions such as:

  • Suggesting new prompts.

  • Viewing newly recorded stories. These collaboration tools ensure an interactive and dynamic storytelling experience for all participants.

Setting Up Prompt Engagement

When initiating a storytelling project, it’s possible to invite others to aid in choosing prompts:

  • Host users can add collaborators directly to the storyteller’s account.

  • Collaborators can then help select prompts for the storyteller to engage with. This shared selection process adds versatility and allows multiple contributors to tailor the storytelling experience.

Managing Account Roles and Notifications

Account Roles:

  • The host (typically the account purchaser) manages payment settings, subscriptions, and account configurations.

  • The storyteller interacts with prompts, edits stories, and reviews project outputs (e.g., recorded responses, ebooks). Each user operates independently within their designated access—there’s no need for the host and storyteller to log into each other's accounts. Invitations to engage with prompts often arrive via email links, making participation seamless for storytellers. Notifications: Both hosts and collaborators can customize notification settings to receive reminders tailored to specific actions within the project—ensuring timely engagement with all storytelling functionalities. Remento’s collaborative storytelling platform supports dynamic interaction through clearly defined roles and versatile prompt management. By enabling seamless collaboration and individualized account functions, the application empowers users to create engaging and customized stories.
