An e-book is a digital version of your Remento project that you can read on various electronic devices. It's an easy way to share your family's stories with loved ones near and far.
E-book features
Your Remento e-book includes:
A book title and cover designed by you.
A table of contents that links a reader directly to the story they select.
Active QR codes that link out to the Storyteller's recording when the reader is on an internet-connected device.
When you purchase an e-book with Remento, you pay once and then can publish as many versions of the e-book as you would like.

How to purchase a Remento e-book
Existing customers can purchase e-books at any time. New customers can add e-books to their purchase during checkout.
If you would like to purchase and create an e-book when your book is ready to be printed:
Log in to your Remento account on a computer (note: you cannot create an e-book from your mobile device).
Click on "Order Books".
Design your book cover and select the stories you want to include.
On the Order Details step, choose the option to purchase an e-book.
Complete the checkout process.
Your e-book will be emailed to you within a few minutes of purchase.
If you already have a Remento project and want to purchase an e-book credit before you are finished with the book, go to your Project Settings, and select the link to "Purchase e-book" in the Book Credits section.
Sharing and reading your e-book
Remento e-books are delivered as PDF files. You can forward them via email to loved ones or upload the e-book to your e-reader. You can read them on:
Computers (Windows, Mac, Linux).
Smartphones and tablets (iOS, Android).
E-readers that support PDF format.
For devices that don't support PDFs, you can convert your e-book using online tools like cloudconvert.com.
Updating your e-book
Remento e-books can be updated for free after purchase and while you have an active Remento subscription. This allows you to:
Record and add new stories.
Edit existing stories, like changing text or adding photos.

What's the difference between a Remento e-book and a physical book?
The main differences are format (digital vs. print) and price. An e-book is an electronic copy of your book and Remento's physical books are hardcover, color-printed books that are printed and shipped to our customers. E-books cost $49.99, while physical book prices vary based on page count. E-books can also be updated for free after purchase and downloaded as many times as you would like.
How long does it take to receive my e-book after purchase?
You should receive your e-book via email within a few minutes of completing your purchase.
Can Remento email my family member or friend an e-book?
No, Remento sends your e-book to the person who has a Remento account and is choosing to export and download the e-book. The file we send can then be sent to anyone via email.
Do I need to purchase an e-book for every person I want to give to?
No, you only need to purchase an e-book once for a project, then you, the Storyteller, and collaborators can all have access to create an e-book.
